Check ACC compatibility before ordering the CSL grille
The CSL-style grille comes in With-ACC and Without-ACC versions depending on whether your car has adaptive cruise control's front radar sensor. Ordering the wrong one blocks the sensor housing.
Watch the video for your body style first
The G80 Saloon, G81 Touring and G82/G83 Coupe share most panels, but watch the video for your specific body style — Touring-specific rear fitment differs slightly.
Handle carbon parts with clean, dry hands
Carbon fibre weave shows fingerprints and oil residue under clear coat. Handle splitters and grilles by the edges during fitting, and wipe down before final placement.
Hand-tighten all carbon fixings
As with any carbon fibre body kit, over-torquing with a power driver is the most common cause of cracked panels. Hand tools only.
Check from 5 metres before finishing
Small misalignments are invisible up close and obvious at distance. Step back before calling it done.
The most common ordering mistake on M3/M4 grilles: picking the wrong ACC variant. If your car has the front radar sensor for adaptive cruise control, you need the 'With ACC' cutout — otherwise the grille sits proud of the sensor housing.

How do I know if I need the ACC or non-ACC grille?
If your car has adaptive cruise control, it has a front radar sensor behind the kidney grille that needs a cutout. Check your options list or ask us before ordering — fitting the wrong version blocks the sensor.
Can I fit the carbon fibre splitter myself?
Yes, for confident DIY owners with trim tools and a careful hand — carbon fibre parts crack under over-torqued fixings, so hand tools only. For the full carbon build, professional fitting is strongly recommended given the part cost.
How long does professional fitting take?
Same-day fitting is available where possible. A full carbon body kit installation typically takes a full day given the extra care required with carbon panels.
