Installation Overview
Five things to know before picking up a trim tool — whether you're fitting one part or the full kit.
Confirm your body style — Coupe, Convertible or Gran Coupe
The splitter, diffuser and side extensions fit all three body styles, but the rear spoiler is body-style specific: the F36 Gran Coupe spoiler will not fit an F32 Coupe's boot lid profile.

Dry-fit before committing
Offer the part up and check alignment on both sides before pushing any clips home. An uneven splitter is almost always caused by rushing this step.
Work from centre outwards
Seat the centre clips first, then work towards each end simultaneously. Pushing one side fully home before the other causes the 2–3mm misalignment we see most often in the workshop.
Check from 5 metres before finishing
Small misalignments are invisible up close and obvious at distance. Step back before calling it done.
The most common fitment question we get on the F3x 4 Series range: whether a part fits across Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe. The splitter, diffuser, side extensions and grilles are shared — only the rear spoiler and boot-specific trim differ by body style.

Do the same parts fit the F32 Coupe, F33 Convertible and F36 Gran Coupe?
The front splitter, rear diffuser, side extensions and grilles are shared across all three body styles. The rear spoiler is body-style specific — the F36 Gran Coupe spoiler will not fit the F32 Coupe's boot lid, and vice versa.
Can I fit the F36 body kit myself?
Yes, for confident DIY owners with trim tools. The main risk is uneven alignment if clips don't seat fully on both sides simultaneously. Watch the installation video above before starting. For a full kit, professional fitting is strongly recommended.
What years does this fit?
F32, F33 and F36 covers 2013–2020 production across Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe body styles.
How long does professional fitting take?
Same-day fitting is available where possible. A full performance package installation is typically completed within a single workshop day.
What warranty comes with professional fitting?
