Five things to know before picking up a trim tool — whether you're fitting one part or the full kit.
Confirm Saloon or Touring before ordering
F30 (Saloon) and F31 (Touring) share the front splitter and side extensions, but rear diffuser fitment differs between the two body styles. Check your model before ordering the rear parts.

Dry-fit before committing
Offer the part up and check alignment on both sides before pushing any clips home. An uneven splitter is almost always caused by rushing this step.
Work from centre outwards
Seat the centre clips first, then work towards each end simultaneously. Pushing one side fully home before the other is the most common cause of misalignment we see in the workshop.
Check from 5 metres before finishing
Small misalignments are invisible up close and obvious at distance. Step back before calling it done.
The most common issue we see on F30/F31s brought in after a DIY attempt: side extensions fitted with the wrong-side clip orientation, since the driver and passenger side parts are handed and easy to swap by mistake.
Check the part is oriented correctly against the reference photo before pushing any clips home. If you're not confident, bring the car in — same-day fitting where possible, backed by a lifetime warranty.

Does the F30 body kit fit the F31 Touring?
The front splitter, side extensions and grilles are shared across F30 Saloon and F31 Touring. The rear diffuser and boot spoiler differ by body style — order the Touring-specific parts if you drive an F31.
Can I fit the F30 splitter myself?
Yes, for confident DIY owners with trim tools. The main risk is uneven alignment if clips don't seat fully on both sides simultaneously. Watch the installation video above before starting. For the full Ultimate Package, professional fitting is strongly recommended.
What years does this fit?
F30 Saloon and F31 Touring covers 2012–2019 production. Both pre-LCI and LCI facelift cars share the same body kit fitment on this generation, unlike the newer G20.
How long does professional fitting take?
Same-day fitting is available where possible. A full Ultimate Package installation is typically completed within a single workshop day.
What warranty comes with professional fitting?
All installations completed by KITS UK include a lifetime fitting warranty — covering the fitment itself, separate from the product warranty on the parts.
